1. User Terms of Service & Anti-Piracy Agreement
1.1 Intellectual Property & Ownership
The brand name, mark, and logo MATHOCRAT, alongside all software applications, educational portal frameworks, video lectures, test series, question banks, evaluated answer keys, model solutions, and written study modules, are the sole and exclusive intellectual property created and owned by Shivraj Gurjar (B.Tech, IIT Kharagpur).
MATHOCRAT is a protected trademark owned by Shivraj Gurjar. Unauthorized use, imitation, commercial exploitation, or misrepresentation of this mark or associated educational assets is strictly illegal and subject to prosecution under the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and the Copyright Act, 1957.
1.2 Scope of Single-User License
Upon enrollment and payment of prescribed fees, user access is granted strictly as a single-user, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable limited license intended solely for individual, personal preparation for the UPSC Civil Services Examination (Mathematics Optional).
- Account credentials (username, password, OTP, active session tokens) are non-transferable.
- Simultaneous logins across multiple devices, locations, or IP addresses are strictly prohibited.
- Sharing access with third parties, study groups, or external coaching centers constitutes a material breach of contract.
1.3 Anti-Piracy Mandates & Prohibited Conduct
Enrolled users are expressly forbidden from engaging in any of the following restricted actions (including, but not limited to):
- Screen Recording & Capture: Recording screens, capturing screenshots, ripping audio/video streams, or using external grabbers, browser extensions, or hardware recording devices to extract course content.
- Unauthorized Redistribution & Resale: Uploading, sharing, selling, leasing, re-broadcasting, or distributing any video file, lecture, PDF note, test series paper, or model solution on external channels (including Telegram, WhatsApp, Google Drive, YouTube, Mega, torrents, or personal web drives).
- DRM Tampering & Reverse Engineering: Decompiling, reverse-engineering, modifying, or removing Digital Rights Management (DRM) protections, video encryption, or dynamic visual watermarking from portal assets.
1.4 Dynamic Digital Watermarking & Forensic Tracking
FORENSIC NOTICE & STEARGANOGRAPHIC TRACKING:
All live streams, recorded video lectures, and downloadable PDF study documents dynamically embed invisible and visual watermarks displaying the student's Registered Phone Number, Registered Email ID, and Unique Student ID. Any leaked or shared content bearing your watermark will serve as direct, indisputable, and conclusive legal evidence in court of law that the infringement originated from your account.
1.5 Legal Remedies & Penalties for Breach
In the event of detected piracy, credential sharing, screen capture, or unauthorized distribution, MATHOCRAT (Shivraj Gurjar) reserve the right to enforce the following actions:
- Immediate Account Termination: Permanent suspension of portal access and forfeiture of all paid course fees without prior notice.
- Criminal Prosecution: Filing of Criminal Complaints under Sections 51, 63, and 65A of the Copyright Act, 1957 (punishable with imprisonment up to 3 years and heavy fines), Sections 103/104 of the Trade Marks Act, 1999, and Sections 43/66 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 for cyber offenses.
- Civil Recovery: Initiating legal lawsuits to recover liquidated damages and business loss resulting from unauthorized leakage.
2. Privacy Policy & Data Protection
2.1 Data Collection Notice
We collect essential personal and technical information strictly to provide educational services, verify user identity, process test series, and protect intellectual property:
- Personal Identifiers: Full Name, Email Address, Phone Number, Telegram user id, and Communication Address.
- Verification & Academic Data: UPSC Civil Services Examination Roll Number / Admit Card copy (where requested for rank listing or evaluation), payment receipts, and ID proof.
- Technical & Security Logs: Device Hardware ID, Operating System, Browser Type, IP Address logs, login timestamps, active session tokens, and streaming metrics.
2.2 Utilization of Personal Data
Collected data is utilized for:
- Enabling seamless access to video playback, study materials, and test evaluation portals.
- Generating personalized digital watermarks to secure course assets against piracy.
- Monitoring active user sessions to prevent illegal credential sharing across multiple devices.
- Sending critical course updates, schedule changes, and test performance notifications.
2.3 Third-Party Disclosure & Protection
We do not sell, trade, or rent user data to third-party commercial marketing entities. Personal data is shared only with trusted operational partners (such as payment gateway aggregators, SMS/OTP gateways, encrypted DRM video delivery servers, test evaluators etc) bound by strict confidentiality obligations. Data may also be disclosed to legal counsel or statutory law enforcement agencies during criminal anti-piracy investigations.
3. Refund & Cancellation Policy
3.1 Strict No-Refund Policy
Due to the proprietary and digital nature of our educational offerings (instant digital access to online lectures, downloadable PDF notes, proprietary problem sets, and test series evaluation infrastructure), all fee payments made to MATHOCRAT are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
Students are advised to review available demo lectures, syllabus coverage details, and portal compatibility before completing payment transactions.
3.2 Forfeiture Upon Policy Breach
If a student's account is suspended or blocked due to anti-piracy violations, unauthorized credential sharing, screen-recording attempts, or abusive conduct, all remaining course validity and paid fees shall be completely forfeited. No refund or compensation claims will be entertained in such instances.
